Drive, No. 2 3.53:1 Ratio –

• Rebuilt Drive with New BC Style Gears using the following procedures:

- Drive dismantled, cleaned by steam and sandblasted.

- The interior of main housings painted with an oil resistant paint.

- Inspect and record all critical fit dimensions.

- All bearing housings restored to original dimensions as required.

- Gear hub skimmed, if required, to eliminate run-out.

- Top housing pilot fit to pulper chamber restored, as required.

- New vertical ring gear shaft installed.

- New horizontal pinion shaft installed.

- New Klingenberg "hard cut" hypoid bevel gears, 3.53 to 1 ratio.

- New Timken bearings installed.

- New shims, gaskets, seals and fasteners installed.

- New Inpro mechanical seal installed in top vertical shaft housing.

- New internal oil lubrication system installed.

- The drive assembled with the gears set to the correct backlash and gear tooth mesh pattern.

- Drive spin tested and the lubrication checked for proper flow.

- Drive exterior primed and finish painted with green machine paint.
